Eliquo Student Support Centre Launched
Eliquo has launched its online student support centre. This online service is part of Eliquo’s industry-leading post-training support program that is available at no additional cost to all our training participants. The centre provides training participants with the ability to:
- Submit their technical support questions
- Book their free refresher courses
- Review their course history and their current course registrations
- Download course lesson files
- Update their student profile

PDF to HTML conversion for Transport Canada
Transport Canada contracted with Eliquo Training and Development Inc. to convert documents from PDF to CLF 2.0 compliant HTML. Native documents were provided to Eliquo for conversion to XHTML.
Formatted text and non-text elements were converted to XHTML using 1.0 Strict mark-up and CSS 1.0. The finished XHTML content was required to validate as per W3C standards, and follow Government of Canada Common Look and Feel 2.0 guidelines. The web page navigational structure was built to include a table of contents and individual page controls such as page forward, page back and return to table of contents. The project was in both French and English.
Eliquo worked closely with key stakeholders to perform a content assessment in order to determine the best way to carry out the conversion.
The finished pages are accessible to, and easily interpreted by, a broad variety of assistive devices and technologies (screen readers and other adaptive devices, search engines, browsers with limited or no support for Cascading Style Sheets, etc.)
