CLF 2.0 has Changed. Are you Ready to Adapt?
Did you know that all federal government websites must be compliant with WCAG 2.0 before October 1, 2011? The Web Experience Toolkit (WET) is one of the easiest toolsets to use to help meet this target (and is recommended by TBS). The CLF 2.0 standards are being replaced; do you know how this will affect you?
These deadlines are happening NOW. Please read the important information below and pay close attention to the due dates
Important Dates
December 31, 2011: Institution compliance report to be submitted to TBS by December 31, 2011 using the Web Inventory Reporting Tool.
February 29, 2012: All home pages or pages referenced from Web site home pages are to be compliant.
July 31, 2012: The “most used” pages are to be compliant
July 31, 2013: Final implementation must be completed by July 31, 2013.
